What we make
One game, built once and played everywhere: a Cuban double-nine partnership domino game with a single rules engine shared by the desktop, iPhone and Android versions and by the multiplayer server itself. That sharing is the point. The server referees every online table using the same code that runs a solo game, so the rules cannot differ between where you play and who you play against.
The game plays the Cuban house rules as they are actually played rather than as they are easiest to implement: la salida is decided by the draw, a trancado is won by the single lowest hand, there is no drawing from the dead pile, and play runs counterclockwise. These are settled decisions, not defaults awaiting review.
How we build
Small, deliberate, and verifiable. The rules engine, the computer opponents and the multiplayer core are covered by an automated test suite that runs on every change, including tests whose only job is to prove that a computer opponent is never handed information a person in that chair could not see.
